　　　　Wisdom　is　the　supreme　part　of　happiness；　and　reverence　towards　the

gods　must　be　inviolate。　Great　words　of　prideful　men　are　ever

punished　with　great　blows；　and；　in　old　age；　teach　the　chastened　to

be　wise。
