imitation　　　　　leather。　　A　　　shining　　　　bar　　　of　　counterfeit　　　　massiveness　　　　　extended　

down　　　　　the　　　side　　of　　the　　　room。　　　　Behind　　　　　　it　　a　　great　　mahogany…appearing　

sideboard　　　　　　reached　　　　the　　ceiling。　　　Upon　　　　　　its　　shelves　　　rested　　　pyramids　　　　of
