person　may　accept　at　once　each　service　rendered　by　the　object　of　his　love　

as　　　a　　　sign　　　and　　　token　　　of　　　kindliness　　　inspired　　　by　　　affection；　　　since　　　he　　　knows

the　unhappiness　of　mankind。
